The formulation and maintenance of your unique Emergency Management Plan is critical in ensuring that you have documented procedures in the event of an emergency within your facility. Additionally, it will document your organisations strategies and systems in relation to your response and management of the emergency. The onus of responsibility is bestowed upon the Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) to ensure the Emergency Management Plan is maintained and with the assistance of the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO), that is suitably implemented.
